A Novel Toolbox for Automatic Design of Fractional Order PI Controllers Based on Automatic System Identification from Step Response Data

چکیده
This paper describes a novel automatic control toolbox, designed for non-experienced practitioners. Fractional order (FO) controllers are easily tuned with the main purpose of easy practical implementation. Experimental step data required FO controller tuning. An embedded system identification algorithm uses to obtain process model as second plus dead-time (SOPDT) system. Finally, is computed based on previously estimated SOPDT in fulfil set user-imposed frequency domain performance specifications: phase margin, gain crossover and margin maximization. response from strongly nonlinear vertical take-off landing unit have been used design an using toolbox. The experimental closed loop results validate proposed end result user-friendly fractional tuning endless possibilities real-world applicability.
